Description

Grade 17-4PH & S17400 is A Precipitation Hardening Martensitic Stainless steel with an addition of Nb/Cu elements. Grade 17-4PH Combines High Strength, hardness (up to HRC40), and corrosion resistance. Mechanical properties at RM can be optimized with final age treatment.

Grade 17-4PH / SS630 is usually taken a special steelmaking technique by BEF & AOD followed by electroslag remelting (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose.
Bars and, where applicable, forgings are subjected to ultrasonic examination based on the different levels according to the buyers' requirements.

Major applications and features for this type of grade
Engine components.
High strength and boat propeller shafts.
Plastic moulding dies
Corrosion resistant & Heat resistant quality & Polishing performance

Stock over 60 grades with a competitive price, along with cutting service for specific requirement.
With extensive Stock with a prompt delivery, Customizing special material is welcome.

Heat treatment practice
Heat treatment is only suitable for specific grades of
stainless steel. When heat treating a stainless the hardening temperatures, including rate of heating, cooling and soaking times will vary due to several factors such as the shape and size of each component. Other considerations during the heat treatment process include the type of furnace, quenching medium and work piece transfer facilities. Please consult with the heat treatment provider for whole guidance on heat treatment of stainless steel grades. We are delighted to help to work with you the special heat treatment based on your special requirements.

Typical applications
Chemical equipment & parts.
Mechanical parts used in the condition of corrosion resistance.
Automobile parts, exhaust pipe, Electronics, Turbine motor blade.
Bolt and nut, Valve body, Pressure vessel.
